Purpose and history of establishment of the organization

                       Tax Counsellor Worker Organization of Nepal is the only organization in the country of workers of temporary nature and unorganized sector who have been working in the field of tax accounting for a long time. In the year 2062, the then government of Shri 5 brought the concept of tax assistant and started to take the test. After that, the tax assistants established the tax assistant labor organization in 2063, and it is moving forward in an organized and institutional manner. Since the establishment of this organization, the members have been assisting traders and industrialists in keeping tax accounts, paying taxes on time, being free from interest and fines, doing business only by registering and keeping information about tax laws.

                         Similarly, it has been helping the state to recover arrears in revenue, to remove non-filers, to bring the businessmen to the tax line, to explain the laws and regulations to the tax payers, and also to encourage them to pay back the houses, from the registration process to the cancellation process of the business, industry and services, considering the nature of the business. This organization has been playing the role of helping businessmen and government in revenue collection, expanding the area of ​​taxation. In this way, it is working to provide support for daily tax related work to entrepreneurs, businessmen and tax administration. But the government or related agencies have not paid attention to the question of making this profession dignified. We have been raising our voices for the right to recognize our profession for a long time. Our voice has been taken lightly by the state. At present (2062.06.14) adding rules to the original regulation of 2053 of Value Added Tax Regulations, rule 58 (a) 1 can hire a tax assistant (1) A taxpayer can hire a tax assistant to get the necessary information and assistance in tax matters. (2) According to sub-rule (1) the tax assistant, his level and other arrangements required for the assistant shall be as prescribed by the department. After the arrangement was made, we, the tax helpers, united and decided to establish an organization, and on 17th Bhadra, 2063, we established an organization named Nepal Tax Helper Workers' Organization.
